Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival IN Casablanca

This 9 days Morocco tour itinerary starts with your pick-up from the airport or your accommodation in Casablanca. The city is considered the economic center and largest city in Morocco. We will visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco. It is located on the western coast of the city on a promontory overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Free time for lunch. Then we explore the city, visiting Casablanca’s stunning promenade, stopping at Rick’s Café and Place Mohammed V (Hammam Square). (Depending on your arrival time, you may have to postpone some stops until the next day) Overnight at the hotel.


Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat the capital – Chefchaouen

we walk along the coast to Rabat. The city is one of the imperial cities in Morocco, and its current capital. You will visit: Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and finally the Kasbah of the Oudayas. Free time for lunch. Then we head north through Ouazzane and the Rif Mountains, reaching the blue city of Chefchaouen. The city is famous for its white/blue buildings and alleys. Overnight in Riyadh.


Day 3: Chefchaouen – The Roman ruins of Volubilis- Meknes – Fes

Feel free to wander through the alleys of the beautiful blue city of Chefchaouen. Then we head to visit the ancient Roman ruins in Volubilis. It is so well preserved that it has been recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It has many beautiful mosaics scattered here and there, in addition to ancient columns and arches. After hiking among the ruins, drive 30 kilometers to visit the city of Meknes. The city is known as the Ismaili capital and one of the imperial cities in Morocco. We visit: Bab al-Mansour, the basin of the Suani Cistern, the royal stable, the granary, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Then we head to Fes. Overnight in Riad.


Day 4: Guided Tour in Fes

After breakfast, we will explore the city’s highlights with a local guide. Fez is considered one of the imperial cities and the cultural and religious center of Morocco.

Meet a local guide, and start your day with a visit to the Royal Palace Gate, then drive through the Jewish Quarter, also known as the “Mellah”. We continue to the old citadel to get a panoramic view of the Medina and Fez.

Then enter the well-preserved medieval Old Town, listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. You will visit the Blue Gate or Bab Boujloud, the entrance to the old city. You will enter the Medina with a local guide (walking tour), to visit the Bou Inaniya Madrasa, the Najjarine Fountain, and the tanneries. Finally, the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque and University, the oldest university in the world.

Finally, you can meet your driver in the afternoon and return to your riad. Free afternoon.


Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Cedars forest – Midelt – Ziz valley – Merzouga Sahara

We head south via Imouzzer to visit Ifrane. The city is known for its low temperatures, snow and houses with Alpine-style architecture. No wonder it is called the Switzerland of Morocco. The tour then continues to the Cedar Forest, where the Barbary Macaque, also known as the Barbary Monkey, lives. Feel free to feed them while wandering through the forest. We then continue to Midelt where we will have free time for lunch. Then we head to Merzouga via the Tizi-N-Talghamt pass and along the Ziz Valley. Stops will be made along the way for panoramic views.

In the afternoon we reach the Merzouga desert. Then you move to the camels, crossing the desert with vast sand dunes. You will stop at the top of a high sand dune to enjoy the sunset. Finally, continue on to the desert camp. The camp combines traditional Bedouin tents with the luxury of a hotel. Where you can enjoy Berber drum music, while dancing around a campfire, under a wide-open sky of stars. Dinner and overnight at the camp.


Day 6: Merzouga Sahara – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

We leave the desert to visit the city of Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet. Rissani remains a major commercial center in the region, with a large, lively market on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

After a stroll through the Rissani market, we continue on to Erfoud, where we visit one of the petrified marble workshops. Then we drive through Toruq and Tanjadad palm groves to reach the Todra Gorge. The course of the Todra River has formed a large valley through the mountains. These valleys are an ideal place for rock climbers. Feel free to wander through the valleys and enjoy the beauty of the landscape. – Free time for lunch in a restaurant. Then we continue our way to Dades Valley via Boumalne Dades. Inevitable stops at the “Monkey Toes” rock formation. On the top of a mountain overlooking the Dades Valley.Finally, dinner and overnight at the hotel.


Day 7: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

We continue our trip to Kalaat M’Gouna to visit the Valley of Roses. The Rose Festival is held annually in May. Where local residents offer their rose products. Then we walk through the palm groves of Skoura. We then arrive at Ouarzazate, also known as the Gateway to the Desert. We will visit Atlas Studios where famous films were filmed.

We go to visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. The fortified village is recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Kasbah also appeared in many films, including: Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy. and TV series including Game of Thrones. A 20-minute ride to the Kasbah and then we continue on to Marrakesh. Driving through the Tizi n Tichka Pass and the High Atlas Mountains. Will stop for lunch and take pictures at interesting places. Overnight in the riad, Marrakesh.


Day 8: Guided tour sightseeing Marrakesh

You will explore the highlights of the Red City of Marrakesh with a local guide. The city is considered one of the four imperial cities in Morocco. The visit includes: Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Ben Youssef Al-Qur’anic Mosque. And a stroll through the largest souk/traditional market in Morocco. Free time to have lunch near Jemaa El Fna Square. After that, you will visit the largest Koutoubia Mosque in Marrakesh, and the Majorelle Garden.
Finally, move to your accommodation. Feel free to tour Jemaa el Fna on your own.


Day 9: Marrakesh – Casablanca

On the last day of the tour, depending on the time of your trip, you may have free time in Marrakesh. Then we head north to Casablanca Airport. End of your 9-day trip
